Just went to my buddy's office where they have 20th+ floor views, an aquarium with sting rays, and Blue Bottle coffee. He quit science and went into programming software for financials.

My mind continues to be blown every day by how worthless science is.

EDIT: I got recruited by someone asking if I would like to do a research scientist contract position for 4 months. PhD in Physics/Bio/Engineering + 5 years relevant experience required. I couldn't type LOL NO fast enough.
