Holy flaming meat chunks.
Chunks of rare beef and duck stuck on a medieval mace, bathed in Cognac and ignited. At a country inn 5 miles down a 1 lane goat path west of Strasbourg France.
i believe you are referring to this thing:What the heck is that on the far left of the bottom string?

I think she might be using it wrong!this would fall right out of my $hit" - true story.
Must have been a very bad storm. You have a very nice living spaceThis pic I think I posted earlier but a little before and after to show some progress, and one of my wife running the rental skiddy that we used to clean up, now I need to build a new run for the chickens.. oh and eventually get to the 15 other trees still scattered about the yard haha.

Yeah, it was bad, and thank you.. so the storm we had created what they call a Downburst it took down about 20 trees in my yard ( I mow about 6 acres) and more in my woods. And since then we've had real feel temps around 105f and humid as hell. But we're surviving, doing a little cleanup here and there with some help from family and friends, and .... heavy machinery. We're on a no outlet road, it got me, and the next 3 drives down, my dad who is the driveway before me had no damage. Crazy stuff.Must have been a very bad storm. You have a very nice living space
You should be set for quite a while for barbecue fuel! This pic I think I posted earlier but a little before and after to show some progress, and one of my wife running the rental skiddy that we used to clean up, now I need to build a new run for the chickens.. oh and eventually get to the 15 other trees still scattered about the yard haha.

Yes, a decent amount of it is cherry.. and a maple. You should be set for quite a while for barbecue fuel!
Hope your chickens are all ok. Our chicken run was flooded but no damage. Just needed a major cleaning. All the food and bedding were soaked. My wife was out in that heavy rain trying to keep the water from backing up into their run. The run is at the lowest part of our yard and water always backs up there when we get heavy rain. This is the worst we have had since we got the chickens. Not much she won't do for her girls. This pic I think I posted earlier but a little before and after to show some progress, and one of my wife running the rental skiddy that we used to clean up, now I need to build a new run for the chickens.. oh and eventually get to the 15 other trees still scattered about the yard haha.

Not having a run has allowed a fox to get a couple hens unfortunately but we still have 22 I think... that rain we just got yesterday gave me a whole new set of problems, one of my windows leaked and we had a waterfall in the living room, soaked all the furniture, luckily the floor is slate so that was easy to clean up. We got 4 inches in 2 hours yesterday afternoon...Hope your chickens are all ok. Our chicken run was flooded but no damage. Just needed a major cleaning. All the food and bedding were soaked. That's "build an ark" kinda rain.We got 4 inches in 2 hours
Luckily it quit after 2 hours, sun is out today.. much more of that and I would have been pumping water out of my basement brewery. .. my driveway looked like a strea..That's "build an ark" kinda rain.
Hope it doesn't turn around and come back for a second visit. 4 inches is a lot of surface water to disperse. Right now we're showing no rain for 4 days, thank goodness, when my dad who's next door told me how much was in my rain gauge I was surprised, crazy stuff.. and yes the smaller one is a 5inch newtonian on a manual german equatorial mount and the larger is a 9.25 Schmidt cassegrain celestron computerized alt/az hoping to get them out tonight, clear skies haven't been a thing for a while.Hope it doesn't turn around and come back for a second visit. 4 inches is a lot of surface water to disperse.
Are those telescope tripods in the last pic?
I have no idea how much we got yesterday but it was probably 2 inches. Not storm related but we were vacationing in Maine a few weeks ago and got to see the strawberry moon over the lake. Not a great shot but the cell phone is all we had.Right now we're showing no rain for 4 days, thank goodness, when my dad who's next door told me how much was in my rain gauge I was surprised, crazy stuff.. and yes the smaller one is a 5inch newtonian on a manual german equatorial mount and the larger is a 9.25 Schmidt cassegrain celestron computerized alt/az hoping to get them out tonight, clear skies haven't been a thing for a while.
