That's not a thing. Local place here did a "DIPA Saison" that dude got pretty railed on in a local group over. In fairness, all his beers suck from what I have heard though.

Anyone in the TX area does Live Oak Hefe see distro statewide? I have a buddy in Dallas this week and might send him out to grab me some.


they pulled out of dallas last year due to not being able to meet demand for all areas. i don't think they're back yet.

if you need things, just holler.

Wasn't that going on with a mead place in Florida? It sure seemed like it.

Pretty much every meadery that has released well-received pre-commercial product has had their "homebrew" meads sold on the secondary market, not by the meadery but rather the people who received the bottles (Garagiste and Pips being probably the two biggest/most obvious ones). Klien is the only person to my knowledge who has outright sold his own homebrew mead in that fashion, and moreover he invents all sorts of ridiculous prices for it.
