Can we get a Humble Harvest x Cademon collab going? How can we hook both of these guys up this summer? They have ample time off from the stresses of having an open brewery, filing the necessary paperwork, and paying the necessary fees/taxes.

Beer name is obviously: "The Art of The Deal"

I bet this is going to be really good if things like The Scribe are any indication. Especially since based on that label it looks more like it's a Side Project beer and not an Evil Twin one.

Yeah, I laughed at how bad that was going to be when I first saw. Then I started thinking about The Scribe...

Isn't everything Side Project makes supposed to be sour or wild? I thought their non-sour/wild offerings were put out under the Shared brand.

No, everything is barrel-aged. The Derivation series of imperial stouts, Anabasis, etc. are not sour/wild.

That being said, I do think this was intentionally brewed as a sour quad, ala The Scribe (or Cuvee de Tomme, for an example from another brewery).

To the best of my knowledge (someone can correct me), Side Project has only had one infection problem on a beer they released, namely The Origin, which was their first bottled beer.

I dunno, man, the fact that they didn't say at first that it would be sour makes me really, really suspicious. That first description sounds great, the second description sounds like maybe they shouldn't be releasing it. (Though, full disclosure, haven't had The Scribe, so maybe that's what they were going for?)

The fact that it's a 17% beer but that they didn't say it was sour from the get-go just screams accidental infection. They probably thought (bruery-esque) that it was too big to develop anything.

Journalists who write about beer need to stop making lists like "10 great beers for the summer" then include stuff like tree house and hill farmstead. I don't understand who it benefits, the people who have access to that kind of stuff aren't going to be reading those lists and the general public that does won't be able to find it anywhere.

It's just clickbait to generate views....only way all these ****** websites get more ad revenue.

When I used to sell my soul to write **** like that, I would make sure to keep that in mind and list things like Sierra Nevada or Lagunitas...only to get promptly **** on from the neckbeard elite because I was presumably a filthy casual.

10 great beers for summer

1. miller high life
2. genesee cream ale
3. a margarita
4. two hearted
5. polar cranberry lime seltzer
6. pre-farmhouse jester king black metal
7. national bohemian
8. the 9 month old 90 minute your father in law hands you at the family function
9. jim & tonic

Let me tell you something, this right here is truth. And just about any other Polar flavor as well (**** you Green Apple).

New fangled seltzer elitists going all nutty for LaCroix... Polar is the people's champ, my friends.

Polar Cranberry-Lime and Vanilla-Orange are two of the best seltzers for sure.

I like private label (aka generic) ones.

Giant's Watermelon one is great. Aldi's lime one kicks ass.

It's nice not spending $5 on 12 cans of water.

Ain't even scared a no generics.
