A random beer thought/question here
Anyone have a Founders Bolt Cutter from about 4-5 years ago? Or even better have you opened one recently?
I had an '07 in '15. Can confirm it was delicious. That beer ages spectacularly. Every time it comes out, it comes across as some disappointing sugar bomb. 3-4 years out... beautiful. 9-10 years out... (I know, ain't nobody got time for that).... peak raspberries.
Festina PecheI wish this had come to Texas back in the day. DFH was seriously weird with Texas back then and would send like every 3rd bottle release they made. Remember picking up Pangaea in Florida cause it never made it here.
Remember being so hyped the first time 120 made it.
Being so hyped to meet Sam C back in the day.
Meeemories. Can't tell you the last DFH I drank, lol.
I drank one at ~2.5 years and it was pretty good. I can't imagine it's still good.A random beer thought/question here

Good introductory berliner, but now all I drink is Red Bud, Live Oak Berlinerweiss and Einhorn from local breweries.Festina Peche

LO's Berliner in particular makes Festina Peche look like ******* clown shoes.

But more importantly, what the ****, LO Berliner? ISO forever pls
Don't care what it is, Doom was really really good.Founders is releasing Doom again,
"Imperial IPA, aged in bourbon barrels"
Bitch, that's a barelywine.....
They dry hopped the last one a lot before bottling. Didn't taste like old hops at all. *shrug* It's been one of their best recent Backstage attempts.Founders is releasing Doom again,

ZFG. Probably my favorite backstage series beer they did.
Curmudgeon's Better Half is still #1 for me, but this is close.ZFG. Probably my favorite backstage series beer they did.

Founder blows, amiright?
Backstage Beers in order:
Blusing Monk (srs, if you don't like it, age it longer)
Sweet Repute (basically a rebrew of 09 Nemesis, **** was fire)
Frangelic Mountain Brown
all of the middle of the road ****
Mango Magnifico
Lizard of Koz
That might be in that "all of the middle of the road ****." I honestly don't recall having any of it, though the one off they did for some furniture store or something was okay. Also, Deca predates the backstage stuff... hell, I think it predates the Nemesis program (lol Resident Evil), but I would park it right behind FMB.You forgot to put the limited number of bottles they released of Barrel Aged Cancer Cells before Lizard of Koz.
Well before Lizard of Koz.
