I am thinking The Colony in Pennsylvania is the best canned mead, but have not evaluated their canned offerings.
That reads like a beer review on Untappd.

I just meant that based on what meads of theirs I have had, I expect their cans to be the best. They only started canning a few months ago. Excited to try a few but I haven't gotten any yet. That reads like a beer review on Untappd.
It doesn't have licorice in it, that's just a flavor description![]()
Dark rye saisons with licorice can go **** themselves. Unless the EC12 barrel covers that **** up, then it'll be good.
Man. Seeing people talking about going into Iowa for KBBS/Assassin release from parts of the country where it never snows... IF it does that day I hope they're all taking ubers around. In a rental car they're not used to, in conditions they're not used to, after attending an event that is centered around strong beers that will likely have shares/other pours.....
Seems like a recipe for problems.

Are you trying to have us believe that your dick tastes like licorice?I appreciate the info, I truly do, I thought they actually added licorice to it.
Nonetheless, if a beer merely "tastes like dick" instead of being actually "dry hopped with actual dick" I still am gonna be a hard pass on said beer.
I mean to me it's just another useless flavor descriptor from a brewery trying to make the beer sound complex, but I see where you're coming fromI appreciate the info, I truly do, I thought they actually added licorice to it.

This has given me the inspiration for an art installation entitled Neckbeard Rapture. It's spreading...

Glad I don't own a brewery. I would take those chairs and throw them away and make a post saying "don't leave your trash at our brewery".

I'd collect them and post for sale on craigslist.

The first beer they're making is their IPA.Why the 750s? Armada's mission is to gather a community around great beer. I felt that the 750ml bottles looked and fit the brand the best. Like a bottle of wine, 750's are great for sharing with friends and family. Smaller bottles and cans tend to be very "single serving" and we want to encourage sharing.... Though I know many people who can pound a 750 to themselves.
Admittedly, there is a lot of nuance in the 3-tiered system I don't understand. But do they believe they won't have any issues with their distributors in different states regarding hand picking beers/breweries they will carry in their stores?
there's ways of doing it as long as you know what you're doing
Of course, and I bet it's a lot easier if you're one of the original CBCs in MA. But if you run the franchise that just opened in Port Washington on LI, I'm guessing it's going to be a bit tougher when you haven't built up years of cache in the industry.

it's not about cherry picking for rarity... you can put together quality and still sell lots and be able to then get those special beers
don't see the issue w/ curating... it's what wine stores do
Which one is that?A new brewery by me posted this on their blog about why they are choosing 750s to package all their beers.

BingoWhy the 750s? Because we can charge significantly more per oz and you ***** will eat it up.
