IDK... Red Brick's "Hype Whale" is a pretty bad name.

Went to a Migration event recently. They were about to tap Proprieters.

That's when I decided I had been there long enough. Finished the bcbs milkshake I made and bounced.

Also, wanna have bcbs egg nog while you're over? It's delicious

You missed out, I had 3 pours of that Prop and could have gone back for more.

There are obviously larger macroeconomic factors, but alcohol sales globally declined in 2015 for the first time in 10 years.

North America grew, but I wonder if this is a leading indicator for an eventual slowdown in craft growth, as well.

I'd say yes to craft growth in the US. Aggressive distro internationally seems to be ramping up by the bigger craft guys.

Ballast point are about to increase Aussie distro. A beer week is about to start here and we have Steve Warner from Stone, and someone from Brooklyn on town doing events all week.

SN have been going hard here for the last few years with events and rollout. I'd bet they are all trying to get ahead of competition back home.

Then look at what they are all up to in Europe as well.

I think those are the largest of the craft segment. There's a barrier to international entry that most of the little guys will never hit; my theory is that many of them will just start cannibalizing sales from each other in the US.

Bell's entered CA last year; they just shipped this season's "fresh" Oberon and it is 2 months old. I can't imagine they are going to do well in this market, and they don't have the resources to expand overseas.
