I've only ever been asked one time, when for whatever reason an employee made a comment about how heavy the box I was dropping off was and casually inquired what I was sending. I told them I was shipping Cheerwine to a friend who'd moved to California, and this story was received completely credulously with no other questions asked.

That's brilliant. It certainly is less awkward than stating homemade lubricant and sex toys, although that one generally doesn't get any follow up questions.

Some ******* idiot did this same **** pretty much sometime last year and it was received poorly as well. I realize people are ******* morons but it's still kind of surprising how many ******* morons make stupid ******* decisions like this all the time.

My brother used to work for an international courier, his job was to inspect packages and declare values for customs... Says he saw more than a few weird things along those lines.

So the original racist post was from Reckless Brewing Company, so that was real, no? The replies in the thread were just from Reckless Brewing, which is the fake account? So he's still racist, but not dumb enough to tell some of his customers to go back to mexico?
