I had someone say this when in a discussion today:
"Think craft beer world is a rare example where price isn't a huge part of a consumer decision."

Just wanted to get some thoughts on this comment.
 
Oh you sweet summer child. Never come to Seattle. This is becoming reality for certain IPAs.

Only $6? Many breweries are north of that here.

Sorry, I should have phrased that differently.. I will pay $6 for an IPA.

What I meant was Rogue IPA.

Just wanted to get some thoughts on this comment.
It is for me. I won't pay more than $20 for a 4 pack of IPA, and I generally try to not spend more than $20-$25 for a single bottle of stout/sour/etc.

Local bottle shop/grocery has $99 A&G Mag's collecting dust and everytime I walk past them I think to myself "this would be a bad consumer decision if I bought one"
 
Please. Wasn't terribly difficult. Can't decide what to do with you yet though. Maybe I will start a poll in a section you can't see.
Gene used to ban them immediately since they had a ban worthy offense* on their old accounts.


*ban worthy offenses being so few and far between here.
