I'm pretty sure that's what you meant to say.
Yeah but this guy... He is so cool.
Had my first ever beer from Witch's Hat today...Andrew Gose Grapefruity, which was on tap at Ashley's in Ann Arbor. I understand that their BA stouts are impossible brewery-only releases that, with the new stealth ticket system, is functionally locals only, but I wish like hell they'd send some of the other kegs over to the Western half of the state. This was the best gose I've ever had.
Picked up some Lagunitas Equinox.... 2 bombers for $9.99. This is a damn good beer. Lagunitas probably has the best bang for the buck out there.
Doing **** with your kids> doing beer related ****In the past week I told a buddy that I can't make a bottleshare on the 18th because it's my daughter's birthday party that his daughter is also invited to. He replied by asking if I wanted to come after the party. Now today, a different guy asked if I'd mule him back 12-24 bottles of Trillium from my 10th anniversary trip to the NE with my wife next week.
Thankfully my good buddy hit me with my favorite sarcastic beer quote of the year when I checked in tonight to see how parenting was going as his wife gave birth to their first child Thursday:
I mean, it's not "bitch ticking ManBearPig with people you kinda hate" but it's pretty good.
But doing beer-related **** with your kids!Doing **** with your kids> doing beer related ****
My daughter helped me run my floor corker a few weeks ago and that was pretty cool, but I wouldn't drag her to a release or bottle share. But doing beer-related **** with your kids!
2013 >>Well, the Sierra Nevada beer camp releases were less bad on the whole than I expected, but I still think having six breweries per beer was a terrible idea. The 2014 releases had beers both better and worse than anything in the 2016 release, but they were at least reasonable efforts rather than gimmicks. I'd much rather Sierra Nevada return to the 2014 model if they do this again. 12 normal collaborations of uneven quality is vastly to preferable 6 overstuffed collaborations of decidedly average quality.
This! a thousand times this!Doing **** with your kids> doing beer related ****
and then she said, "daddy, whats newmoney mean?" and so father ftowne explained how atrocious beer fans are now as she fell sound asleep. My daughter helped me run my floor corker a few weeks ago and that was pretty cool, but I wouldn't drag her to a release or bottle share.
Not trying to knock people who don't have kids, just saying that I'd rather hang out with my kid over standing in line for beer or drinking 2 oz pours of obscure stuff. Not having kids. Will have to just stick to doing lame beer ****.
I probably wouldn't once my daughter's older, but being a dad of a brewery baby is super-fun. And she enjoys meeting the staff ALWAYS.My daughter helped me run my floor corker a few weeks ago and that was pretty cool, but I wouldn't drag her to a release or bottle share.
hahaha this is so perfect"bitch ticking ManBearPig with people you kinda hate"
Blueberry is ******* great. I don't know why that one is so good but it is. I've never had a bottle of Apricot that wasn't just straight acid. #newishmoneyThis new bottle of Cascade Apricot has Upland level acidity. Bizarrely, Blueberry was very nice and not exceptionally enamel ripping.
Just got a message from a friend that it is currently 97 degrees at the Firestone Walker Invitational. Couldn't be happier with my decision not to attend the Firestone Walker Invitational.
The sheer amount of kids I've seen at Toronado during a Cable Car tapping or a Pliny the Younger day has been utterly depressing. My daughter helped me run my floor corker a few weeks ago and that was pretty cool, but I wouldn't drag her to a release or bottle share.

Speaking for the 100 degree 90% humidity crowd that sounds quite nice.

I look forward to bring our kid to breweries. Yes, I will be that person with the screaming kid and they will kick you in the shins.
Lol, I know. Just giving you a hard time. Most of the crew we hang with is out of the chasing game anyway. We don't even have busy kids schedules as an excuse. Just over it. If a release/event/whatever is no longer fun, we stop going. Much more fun to hang out sharing club or shelf bottles and shoot the ****. The event I was at yesterday was for a relatively new place (2 year anniversary party), both kid and dog friendly. I didn't even get in the bottle line. Grabbed food and a pour and sat down at a table. No one wanted for chairs. It was about a perfect event except for intermittent rain, but there was a huge party tent, too.Not trying to knock people who don't have kids, just saying that I'd rather hang out with my kid over standing in line for beer or drinking 2 oz pours of obscure stuff.
Dark Lord Day and Darkness Day are still on my bucket list, so I can't say that I'm 100% anti-beer release parties.Lol, I know. Just giving you a hard time. I am over DLD. It's been cold and/or wet the past few years and everyone is a ******** (my crew excluded for the most part). **** gets stolen all over and it is too stressful for me, despite FFFs best efforts. I have never done Darkness, but in my head it is similarly cold and uncomfortable plus no sleep, so I specifically don't want to. I think the only reason I still 4 elf is because Dark Horse separated the bottle release from the party so I can just come to tick weird animals and taps if I want to. I am there for the meats.Dark Lord Day and Darkness Day are still on my bucket list, so I can't say that I'm 100% anti-beer release parties.
DDay Eve, while potentially cold/snowy, is highly recommended.I am over DLD. I have been told, repeatedly. If for no other reason, backfat time.DDay Eve, while potentially cold/snowy, is highly recommended.
