No ****. Check out this quote from a major brewery heritage brand "relaunch" article:

(if you're really interested, I wrote a few words on the launch and how absurd the whole thing is http://aleofatime.com/2016/03/mccrackens-amber-ale/)
So a DIPA?
Brought a Cuddlebug to a random bottle share and someone just grabbed it out of the ice and started pouring. Nothing crazy, but this is the last time I try to be generous at an event like this. The lack of etiquette is absurd.
Who does that?

Anyone else get green apple (acetaldehyde) in stouts these days? Darkness 15 had it when it was really fresh, Cognac Abyss had it, and I just tried Huna 16 and that had it. Breweries pushing stouts out the door before they're ready?

My palate shifted massively a few years ago and now I'm really susceptible to acetaldehyde. I couldn't really taste it and then suddenly it's everywhere. Maybe that's happened.

Learning about Lean is awesome. Great way to improve your daily life.

Edit: I thought this was about something else. ****, sorry now I'm going to go put on my JaMarcus Russell jersey and get faded.

Don't forget Agile, which is a thing too.

My ******* life at work right now, summed up in 3 posts.

I got it in a few of the BA stouts at the Northern Lights "rare beerfest" including BA Darkness and BA Silhouette. When I had a bottle of BA Darkness earlier this year I didn't notice any.

'13 Dark Lord was the biggest acetaldehyde bomb I can recall that wasn't a homebrew.

TalkBeer. I used to think that this website's and other related fourm's main purpose was to promote the advocacy and awareness of craft beer among like-minded enthusiasts. After dedicating countless hours and several years to this cause, I've come to the conclusion that TalkBeer is basically Tinder for alcoholics.

What with all the talk of tip touching that goes on here, I'd say it's more like Grindr.

Not to mention the male to female ratio is worse than Camp Lejeune.

Personally I view this website as a personal receptical for my low brow humor and paint by numbers drawings. You're welcome.

Grindr. Lots of cocks in this homie house.

to bring it back on topic, what's the point of bringing beers to a bottle share if you're not going to... open them?
The way our bottle shares work, everyone brings too much alcohol. If you're not vigilant about opening a bottle as soon as ******* possible another will get opened before yours. I often come home with bottles as a result.

Agreed and we used to have folks in our local Chicagoland group who would always bring fun bottles out, but only one or two would ever be opened. *Edit* Frank is right though that we always bring way too much out so in our group you need to jump up and crack a bottle when the opportunity presents itself.

Having said that, I'll never understand the mentality that goes "This isn't my cooler, but this person is drinking with us, so they won't mind if I open their beer to share".

reaching in to a cooler seems to be a line crossed but otherwise.. put a bottle on the table.. expect it to get drank.

my opinion is it's a "share" not "let me show off this beer to everyone so they can see how awesome I am.. and i will open it at the appropriate time so as to achieve maximum credit and appreciation for my largesse."

i get the "5 man bottle share..... there are 186 bottles here... dey ain't all gettin drunk today" thing. that happens.
