OK so I got this kit, I have:

6.5 gallon plastic bucket
6.5 gallon plastic bucket with spigot on bottom
and a Better Bottle (I believe it is 5 gallons)

Ok so tell me if I have it right. Boil wort, put in bucket without spigot. (primary fermenter). Then, transfer (or can I say rack here?) to the Better Bottle (for secondary fermentation). Then to the bucket with the spigot on it for bottling...

Do I have this right? Sorry for all the posts I just want success the first time!

You got it right. What I (and many others do) is to forgo racking to the Better Bottle and just leave it in your primary until you're ready to bottle it. Three weeks or more in the bucket does wonders to your beer and eliminates the chances for contamination and oxidation from racking it to the BB. Good luck!:mug:

I run two weeks in my primary bucket, two weeks in my secondary better bottle.

Ask 10 people on here and you'll get 10.5 different ways they primary and (or not) secondary. And they're all usually right.

1+ on that! Everyone does it different. Do what works for you.

I agree with you on the 10.5, but I also do 2 weeks in each. It is a nice round number and lets me make my mess (sanitize) all on the same day.
