Quick & decent ale recipe

I'm looking for a brew kit for an ale that will ferment within 3-4 wks that is a beer most people will enjoy. Any ideas?

Well, Austin Homebrew has a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale clone, among many others. There's probably a thousand and one kits out there, pick one!

Oops. Read your post again and realized you're looking for a kit, not a recipe.

I love Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, but I know most of my friends would find it way too hoppy. You can try doing a google search for "lawnmower beer kit". I think that's probably what "most people" like.

I have brewed a couple batches of northern brewer's nut brown ale. Its pretty good and most ppl that try it like it alot.

I have a batch of this that's on the tail end of bottle-conditioning (just drank a bottle a few minutes ago, actually), and HOLY COW is it a tasty beverage. I'm going to have trouble saving enough for my Mardi Gras party :fro:
