Quick and effective way to clean heating element

This has been working well for me so i thought I'd share. Just pull the rope back and forth run along each ripple.

That's a pretty damned good idea!

My elements are easy to remove, so it's not a big deal, but at one time removing them was not easy. I wish I had known this idea back then.

I bet I'd do a better job flossing my kettle than I do my teeth.

I cut one of those green 3M scrubby pads into strips and essentially do the same "flossing" technique. Works well.
