I'd been under the impression that brewers are not allowed to run their own distribution since the repeal of prohibition. . .

If that's the case, then how can these guys be distributors?

I think some of it has to do with state laws. For example, there are New Belgium trucks around here...

Some states allow breweries to distribute. California is one of these as well.
