I desided to try mash hopping for the first time combined with fwh in my house pale ale today. I added .50 horizon to the mash and let it run its usual 60 min mash. After it was done I volufed and added .25 horizon to my bucket and started to drain the tun. Well the drain wasnt doing as planned so i poured the bucket back in and restarted the process. then it dawned on that my fwh went into the tun so i added another .25 fwh to the bucket. So my question is how do i account for the lost .25 hops i dumped into the tun, should i just add it to the mash hops or to the fwh. On a brighter note i did hit 84% mash eff for 2 consecutive mash in a row

.25 ounce of hops added to the end of the mash for a few minutes seems insignificant to me...I would just add it again as FWH.

edit...as in account for it in some formula? I would forget it and move on.
