I brewed a darker strong ale on Tuesday the 18th. It started off fast and was down to a bpm within 3 - 4 days. I waited until the 25th and put it into the Secondary where it has stayed not bubbling for the last 4 days.

Since it is a darker beer, is it still good practice to let it sit for the full 2 weeks or could I bottle it with only 7 - 10 days in the secondary?

SG : 1.70
RG : 1.20 (gravity when racked)

If you are in a hurry, you could go ahead and bottle it, but no beer ever seems to be hurt by a few more days in the secondary. At this point, about all you will get from more days is more clarity. The flavor will continue to improve even if you bottle.
