I finally have my control box completely wired up. I tested everything for continuity and everything is good except the E stop. I don't have continuity from one end of the hot wire to the other end that has the resistors in between. I am hoping this is what is supposed to happen, but with my limited knowledge of electricity I am unsure.

I sent you a PM, thanks. I was just checking continuity throughout my box. I was checking to make sure my connections were all good. I was checking that my box was completely grounded. I checked from my hot distribution block to the fuse for the e stop and had continuity then on both sides of the fuse and everything was good. When I went from the switch side of the fuse to the switch I had nothing. I didn't check it before I installed the wire so it may be my soldering job. The resistors are covered with heat shrink at this point.

I am using this diagram

and this is the thread about my build:

you should have 2k ohms resistance between the fuse and switch. If you're using a multimeter with continuity tester it will show open or OL because it's usually limited to 200 ohms. You need to use a higher setting than 2k.

Thanks, I just checked it I have 1960 ohms resistance. So I guess I am good to go. Now I just need to build a stand, install a 50 amp breaker, run 50 ft. of wire and install an outlet. Oh yeah I still need to mount my elements and rtd probes and get all the plumbing hooked up.:(

I'm pleased that you got it resolved. I figured it was a little to late to call when I saw your PM.

Wishing you the best,

P-J, thanks anyways. I knew it had to be something simple. I'll update my build thread when I get more accomplished. I just had to put new tires on my car so the brewery fund just got depleted again. Hopefully I am done by this winter lol.
