I am doing my first temp controlled brew, an IPA, and I was wondering if I should put my secondary back into my temp controlled chest freezer, or if I should dry hop/condition at a warmer temperature? Any advice would be appreciated.

How warm would it be getting? If it isn't too hot, you would be fine dry hopping at room temp. Then use the new space in your chamber for another brew!

I'm in hawaii so it gets warm here, usually low to mid 80s. My place isn't too insulated so maybe only another degree or two change inside.

Hopefully, someone else can weigh in. That does seem high. When I warm it up, it usually doesn't get higher than mid-upper 70's. Anytime its going to be higher, I'll turn on the AC. I've only read that, as long as fermentation is complete, warmer temps should not have a big impact on an ale.
