Q: Priming with Dried Malt?

I've got some dried malt extract left over from a recent recipe, and I was thinking that I could use it to prime my beer at bottling instead of corn sugar. Once I figure out how much I need, what's the best way to prepare it? Do I have to boil it for 60 minutes?

Boil it for a couple of minutes in a small amount of water. Definitely no need to go a fully 60 minutes.
