PVC Pipe Weld on pressure keg plastic?

Hi Brains!
Do you think PVC Pipe Weld will work well on the plastic used for the standard pressure kegs? I am trying to bond another plastic part to the OUTSIDE of the plastic keg.

Doubt it, stuff is slick, you can heat weld on HDPE though https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0007L7B5Y/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

OK thanks -- I've tried anyway... I put PVC Pipe Weld inside/underneath and Araldite on the outside.
