Purge water from therminator and chugger pumps?

I was testing out my new Ruby Street brewing system today and just used water with some PBW to clean out the pumps and therminator. I started to wonder if after my brew day and cleaning part afterwards, do I need to purge the water from the pumps and therminator? Also, would PBW left in contact with my pumps and therminator damage them in any way?
