Just got a pump, first brew using it tomorrow. Using with keggle that has a whirlpool port. Any suggestions on sanitizing the pump before whirlpooling. Should I re-circulate through the pump and port last 5 minutes of boil at low speed? Or is there a better method. Thanks for any help.
Cheers.

Yes recirculate with boiling wort. No great data on how long that should be done for.

A minute of boiling kills most water-borne nasties so is very effective sanitation for wort, or water of unknown safety. 1 minute likely accomplishes as much as 10. I typically do 5mins with the pump output reduced.
