Ok I'm an old fart and lifting those vessels ain't fun. My son got me a therminator as a gift, I already have 3 vessels and want to build a brew stand to save my back! so i need pumps...the only one you hear about are marsh or chubber, i'm eyeballing this one now, but for 30$ more, here's this one... should i spend the 30$ or i there any other option that will work as fine? thx in advance..

Good call on saving your back. I'm a paramedic and my back goes through enough on the job. No need for more damage off the job too.

I got a stainless steel inline chugger pump. I absolutely love it. It's so nice to just use camlock quick disconnects and flip a switch and it's done!

The few tips I can give you are:
Put a ball valve at the OUT end of the pump. It pumps with a good amount of force so if you want to control it you can put a valve at the out side to control it. But def don't put it on the IN side because it can cause damage to your pump if it's but filled with liquid while it's running.

The other is find a way to connect a switch to your pump because they don't have an on/off switch. What I did is build a mini stand with a water resistant junction box with a switch/outlet combo. Power goes to the switch, chugger is connected to the outlet underneath, when I flip the switch the outlet now gets power.

Or get one of these http://m.woodcraft.com/Product/2020...g&matchtype=&gclid=CILLq73A3b0CFfNxOgodjksA-w

Good luck!

Thx for the help, ordered the pumps, got the stainless with center inlet. Thx for the tip on the ball valve on the out. For a switch, was just planning to connect the pump to a power bar and use the switch on it.

That's what i do, have one of those power strip wheels that has the gfci built in. Acts as extension/switch/gfci can't ask for much more. Screwed my pump down to small piece of wood, you are going to be happy. Would also recommend the camlocks.
