Is this generally accepted at your place of work? There is the definite smell of boiling wort......
There's a definite smell when people cook fish in the microwave too, but that doesn't seem to stop some of the folks in my office. Boiling wort on the other hand, smells goooooooooood.
You know they sell gatorade powder in containers that look like an orange home depot water cooler.

You could drill a hole and put in a small ball valve with stainless steel braid.
Then you only need to heat water in the microwave to the desired temp. Would be easy to insulate the outside of the container but If you just put the thing in your car, the inside of your car has to be about 120 degrees. I bet it would hold well with out insulation but inside of your car with the sun shinning on it.
