Just received my Inkbird ITC-310T from amazon and am trying to become familiar with it.

Thus far my initial impression of the unit is it looks nice and seems well made how ever the manual is not great nor is the interface. I highly encourage anyone thinking of buying one to take a look at their manual first.

Anyway, I can't for the life of me set the date and time on the unit. The instructions state to press and hold the down button for 5 seconds. If you wait another 5 seconds, the unit will return to running mode which makes changing the settings while reading the manual rather difficult. Once you are in the date/time edit mode, pressing any button will immediately return to the running mode.

Anyone experience this and if so how did you resolve it?

Yes. I have tried the up/down arrows on each date/time unit (i.e. year, month, day, hour, min) which means I have pressed the "set" button while in the date/time edit mode. End result is the same -> right back to the display mode.

I've emailed support. Hopefully theyll be able to help.

Got back from Inkbird's customer service. They stated that you can not set the date and time and that the current setting is fixed at the factory. Kinda odd they decided to ship like that. Also, I was told to ignore the instructions on how to set the date and time.
