Okay I have brewers best conditioning tablets. I have 22 oz beer. I want a good head on my hefeweizen and can't track down corn sugar( that I am used to) how many of these puppies should I drop in or what alternative to corn sugar can I use?

(Apologies if this is hard to read. Writing in my mobile device. )

They say 3-5 per 12 oz bottle so I'd say maybe 8-9 per a 22 oz bottle? That will result in a reasonably highly carbonated beer.

It is important to note that the recipe will affect head retention more than the amount of priming sugar used. You could highly carbonate that beer and just end up with a ton of foam that dissipates quickly... Strangely enough I had that problem with my hefeweizen. Now I use carapils or flaked wheat in every beer that I want good head retention in.
