Carb tabs are inconsistant and a headache, in my opinion. I bought a pack of muntons tabs and I'll never use them again. Half of them didn't dissolve and ended up floating in my beer. The coopers aren't AS bad and I'll usually keep a pack on hand when I want to keg but have a little extra left over to bottle.

I still prefer normal corn sugar over anything.

I love Coopers carb drops. Just 1 per bottle, easy sleazy! I had a bad experience with corn sugar so now I stick to Coopers.

The nice thing about bulk priming with sugar is that you can achieve any level of carbonation you want by calculating the precise amount of sugar to add. Carb drops result in overcarbed stouts/milds etc. and undercarbed belgians/wheats etc. The other advantage to bulk priming is the ability to use any size bottle, and/or a variety of bottle sizes.
