Got a quarter to half way racked be fore I remembered to add my priming sugar and then let the flowing beer mix it in its own.
It's been a week and the carbonation is week. Should I be worried about uneven carbing or does it just need more time?
It's an IPA extract kit by the way.

Also, it sat in the bottling bucket for a few hours before I could bottle it. Maybe the sugars settled, is that even possible?

3 weeks in the bottle is about the standard, so more time would be my guess. What was the OG and FG? Bigger beers with more hops take more time to carb up.

Cheers!

Yes, it is possible. The only advice I can give is to put the bottle in a Rubbermaid Tote so that if one or more do blow, then its a simple clean up. Did you do any stirring at all? If you did, you are probably safe. But I always put my bottles in a Rubbermaid Tote for that one reason. They are kind of perfect for that.
