I bottled a beer a couple weeks ago with dextrose but only used a small amount of a 5 oz pack. I put the remainder in a ziplock freezer bag and placed in my beer fridge. Will the priming sugar stay good for a bottling in another week or so? I assume it would but curious if anyone has had a bad experience from doing this. Thanks.

Just put it in a bag and stick in a cabinet. It doesn't need to be in the fridge. In fact, if you have any moisture issues in the fridge, that would actually be a bad spot for it. Sugar is shelf stable pretty much forever as long as it is dry.

+1, I just keep mine in a zip lock bag in the brew room, I buy it in bulk and weigh it out as I need it.

Thanks guys. I was curious about the moister...it's a brand new fridge and haven't had moister issues just yet but I don't want to ruin the bag of sugar. I'll take it out and in the future I'll just store in cabinet.
