Dumb, dumb, dumb.........I added the priming sugar directly to my bottling bucket, bottled and capped the beer then read the directions to boil in water before adding. I'm worried I did not get it evenly mixed and may have some flat beer and worse some bottles exploding?? Has anyone done this before and if so what was your experience?

You don't need to boil the sugar. Just boil 2C of water in a small sauce pan for a couple minutes, then stir in the weighed amount of priming sugar to dissolve. Cool a bit & add to the bottling bucket. Adding sugar alone to the bottling bucket is harder to dissolve,& can give uneven priming/caronation. Not much you can do now.
