I made a huge balls up tonight. Just going through the motions in bottling my latest beer and to cut a long story short, I realised I had bought the wrong sized bottle tops... Just after adding my priming solution to the beer.

Obviously I can't do anything about it right now, I'll have to get some first thing and bottle in the morning (lucky I'm not at work). Anyone think this will be ok/a disaster?

Any input appreciated.

Sanitize a lid, or some tin foil at the very least. You don't want dog hair or dust falling into the bucket. If it were me, I'd just re-do the priming sugar tomorrow.

The solution is in the beer in the bucket with a lid on. I'm thinking it should be ok. Surely can't lose that much carbonation over 12ish hours.

Cheers anyways.
