I've got a saison going right now (AHS kit that came with 4.5oz of priming sugar).
I'm pretty sure that this is not enough sugar to carbonate to style and I'm wondering how much more dextrose to add to the bottling bucket. Will an ounce be enough or should I go 1.5 oz?

That is weird. I carbonated mine to around 3 volumes. BJCP style guideline says it's highly carbonated, though doesn't give a number. Jamil's book says 3-3.5 volumes.

It also depends what temp the beer is at during fermentation. Higher temp beers need more sugar. Assuming 80 degree fermentation and 3 volumes, you'd need about 6oz of corn sugar. I think I used 8 when I did mine to bring it up to 3.5 volumes.
