I ordered a kit and neglected to cancel the order for priming sugar because I prefer Cooper's drops.

Has anyone ever dumped priming sugar - or Cooper's drops too, I guess - into the boil to try and slightly up the ABV?

It's pretty much just table sugar in tablet form. Just a word of warning, though. It'll thin out your beer, as table sugar is nearly 100% fermentable.

Not a problem, like mentioned it's basically table sugar. I threw some (table sugar) into my Double IPA to bump the gravity up a bit, went from ~7.6 to 8.2 ABV.
