I have a dilemma.

i do 10 gallon batches and would honestly love to move away from splitting the batches into 2 separate carboys as the temperature is always different in each in the chest freezer...

1) i have a sanke keg that i was going to use for fermenting... I was excited due to fermenting in stainless steel. However, one problem is to keep me happy.. it would need some modifications so i could easily clean it (i'm not a huge truster in oxy-clean / PBW for this as i can't really see in the keg)

if i was to use the keg, i would modify it to fit my needs (cut a hole in it, make a lid and gasket, etc) which would be fairly easy. At that point, i would also need to modify a mini fridge with a collar and another way to heat it during the winter time as the chest freezers i use wouldn't fit the sanke keg. So that is more cost.

2) i have a spare chest freezer that would fit the 10 gallon batch vittles vault with the current modifications i have in place (heating, collar, etc) so i wouldn't need to do much.... However, lifting the 10 gallon batch of beer into the chest freezer and back out wouldn't be too fun considering my back has some minor issues that i wouldn't want to turn major.

With that being said, i would need to pressure transfer via CO2 and racking cane out to the corny kegs / secondary if needed.

has anyone done pressure transfers from the vittles vaults with success? or am i back to the drawing board?

I'd say you're back to the drawing board. The vittles vaults don't seem to hold pressure exeptionally well in my experience. I've been using them for about 6 or 7 years. After the first couple batches my air locks stopped bubbling.
