Im new to this homebrew game.

I’m starting to hear that fermenting under pressure may be able to improve my results (I don’t have a dedicated fermentation chamber).

I’m curious if this is truly the case?

Does fermenting under pressure have any downsides?

And is the fermentasaurus the only real vessel that this could be done for under $200? (I heard corny kegs work too, but I like that I could see the trub in the fermentasaurus)

Most people don't ferment under pressure and are able to make very good beer using much cheaper fermenters. Since you are a beginner, you don't really need to worry about fermenting under pressure right now. Keep it simple for a while. You will enjoy beer made without it.
