What specs does a pressure cooker need to make nutrient agar plates? Do I need to get up to a specific psi or temp? I'm looking to start plating wild and commercial samples and would like to use reusable glass Petrie dishes. Also maybe some slants for storage. Any suggestions for picking out a pressure cooker?

I'm not sure on the exact temp but I'm pretty sure all pressure cookers get up to the temp you'd need as long as you have a heat source that can boil. I just go with electric. Also 12 PSI or higher, which is again is pretty much all pressure cookers. I went with a cheap 40 dollar one and have used it in my home lab for sterilizing just about everything and have never had a contamination issue.
