Pressure barrel malt? sugar? newbie

Right here comes my first newbie questions, i have done a couple of batches of beer and now I've decided to use my pressure barrel for the first time, i have sterilised it and all I'm waiting for is my brew to finish its first stage hopefully this weekend once its reached its OG, anyway I'm brewing a canadian blonde "coopers" and i started it with brewing sugar as i had no spray malt. I've been working out on the calculator for sugar… which has gave me a reading of 149grams of brewing sugar to add to the 20 litres of brew that ill have in my barrel is that correct? another question is should i use spray malt or brewing sugar in my barrel for second stage fermentation? and finally after watching countless videos on youtube when should i pressurise the barrel with co2?

You are using some words I don't follow... I think you are asking about putting your beer in a 'preasure barrel' for we in the States would call 'kegging' That is for purposes of packaging the finished product.

You mention using brewing sugar as you have no spray malt and then having 149grams (about 5oz for the US readers)... If this is a kegging situation, you can just use CO2 to carb it up. Although using some sugar and priming that way is also done by some people with keg setups. As for using dry (spray) malt. I'd personally not do it. It adds cost, not really adding much to your beer (on a scale of 1 to 100, it adds maybe 1 or 2 points, much less that say temp control which can easily improve a beer by 30+)
You are going to get it out using force CO2 later. As to putting it under preasure. The beer needs disolved CO2 in it to come out proper for serving. This can be done with brewing sugar (or malt, although again, I'd not use malt), or you can just put CO2 tank on and carb up that way. After about 4 to 7 days, you should be set for serving, and thus need the CO2 then to get it out - and keep the remainder with CO2 disovled. Or to answer your question. If you are using CO2 to carb, put it on the CO2 right away. If using brewing sugar, I'd lean towards about 7 days and give a test draw.
