I also just noticed that there is a newer brewery operating in the industrial park area, Battery Steele. I guess they are in Bissell's old space? Does anybody have an opinion on them?

They are actually on the same side of the building as Austin St (Foundation expanded into Bissell's old space). They hit the ground running, canning day 1. I've liked everything from them so far... including the beer I'm drinking right now!

1. Lobster Rolls
2. Oysters

Certainly any local can (and really should) correct me, but my recent re-reading of this thread, combined with my independent research suggests that the answers are:

1. High Roller (which is actually a cart) is the best, but the Lobster Shack is good too (and byob), and Eventide is also good (though it serves an unconventional lobster roll)

2. Eventide seems to be the preferred option for oysters and I haven't seen any place that is as universally well-reviewed, so I don't really have a secondary suggestion on that one.

There's a newish brewery in Brunswick (Flight Deck). Not sure how their beers are though.

Depending on your route, the Bangor/Orono area has a couple decent ones - Orono, Mason's, Marsh Island.

There is also Marshall Wharf in Belfast and Oxbow in Newcastle.

They were but it was nothing to write home about. Still don't know why they changed from the original iteration (Lion's Pride). That place was awesome, albeit a little pricey on the beer side.

Curious as well. I'll be making my first visit to Portland that week.

It's chill. This is an ipa town, most of the 16ozCanbroz don't even care. If you want loon bottles get there early, otherwise there will be a few on tap and more than enough Zwanze pours.

Also best thing is you can buy your zwanze pour tickets, leave for food or whatever, and come back for the tapping at 3pm.

Are you trying to say you're in town that weekend?

Agree with what JBPortland said. Very chill, show up within the first hour they are open to grab a ticket. They'll have some good **** on tap and assuming it's good weather, the deck will make it so it's not really crowded come tap time.
