I have a 6 gallon batch of porter coming due for bottling. If I use maple syrup to bottle condition will any of the maple flavor come through or should I just stick with corn sugar?

I used maple syrup for priming in one of my beer (a red ale) and the maple flavor was there but it was quite discrete.
Depend I guess of your porter recipe. If you already have strong fruity / roasty flavor, I'm not sure you will be able to taste the maple.
