Folks, I'm considering taking the plunge of investing in an RO filter. Thing is, I'd rather not do a permanent install in my kitchen. I've seen some portable units that I can hook up to my basement utility sink's faucet for a few hours or the night before a brew session and then disconnect and store until needed again. Has anyone used one of these devises who can share some feedback?

They just revamped their RO/DI Line of filters.

You can mount this to a piece of plywood and it comes with all the fittings necessary to hook up to your utility sink:

Both of the systems above are designed to handle both Chlorine AND Chloramines.
