Does anyone know where you can get those tap style soothers for the ports on my kettles and tuns? Like most, I brew in my garage, so I'd like to be able to keep the critters out between long brew breaks.

They look like these.

But want some to fit these.

Thanks in Advance! :tank:

They look nice, I would be concerned with trapping moisture or beer behind the cap only making the issue worse.

Would a shot of star San up the tap, allowed to air dry suffice?

Clean and dry is the best environment to keep wild bugs at bay.

I do have those on my taps, but I spray the taps with Star-san, let drain, then cover them with the soothers. The soothers are soaked with star san too. Is that bad? I've seen one local pub do it, so assumed it was good to do.

I still have the blue Kleen plugs that I used to use, but had to toss two of them due to the plug rusting.

Thanks for the link of the Camlock covers. Good to know Bobby M has them. There's some other stuff I want to get from him as well so that's perfect.
