So I finally got a house (yay!!!)
That means enough space for kegging (yay!!!!!!)

I got myself 4 corny kegs. They still had Dr pepper and Pepsi tags and some concentrate inside.

I've been scrubbing them and their posts tubes and valves.

I changed the o rings. But I don't have pressure relief valves or poppet valves. Given that they have some rubber to seal. Do I need to change those? I don't think I can smell soda on those like I did with the rings, but I'd like to know what the voice of experience has to say

Thanks!

I changed my poppets and pressure relief valves. Poppets would be in direct contact although they may not introduce a flavor component that is detectable, I didn’t want to risk it. I got the poppets and valves at Williams Brewing, seemed to have the best prices at the time.

You can get them on eBay for cheap, I bought used kegs and after chasing leaks for three weeks I bought new gaskets, fittings and springs and have no issues since

Well worth it
