I am thinking about doing a fruit infused beer my first thought was a pomegranate Hefe I probably make a purée my question is should I mash the fruit with the skin then strain or just the inside of the fruit and should I strain or not. And the pomegranate tree has some beautiful red flowers I was thinking of adding some to the boil or either like a dry hopping with the flowers in the primary. pomegranate has kind of a numbing taste like the inside of a banana peel so I might leave the flowers out any suggestions.
