whats up everyone,

woke up with not much to do, and decided that i would try to track down a bottle of pliney the elder (or younger) to drink tonight.

i know its not sold in the great state of texas, but that doesnt mean that someone out there is willing to part with a piece of their cellar. i am willing to pay the premium.

so, if anyone out there can help me out, please drop me a line, or help point me in the right direction.

cheers,:mug:

Just so you know, Younger is only avaliable at the Pub in Santa Rosa in February. Pliny is also pretty easy to mail order.

Never had the pleasure of trying the younger, but wouldn't turn it away if someone was willing to part with it. I have some buddies in ca that will send me some younger from time to time. I was looking for one today... a personal scavenger hunt if you will. Thanks for the info.

Cheers

get friends and family to send it to you, see if they can legally distribute to AZ... if all that fails, there is always ebay, but you are buying the "collectable bottle" not the contents, and you are not supposed to comsume the contents, but you can get unoppend bottles. check it out.

I was on Vacation out in Napa Valley last year and made the trip to Santa Rosa just to get some Pliny the Elder, that was a fun bar/brewery to hang out in, my mother in law and myself enjoyed the different beers they had to offer. Definitely worth the trip if your out in the area.
