Nobody got short-changed watching this game. It was intense from the jump to the last 2 minutes.

The second period demonstrated how one team can play with confidence while the other is bogged down in fear of making a mistake. On top of that the Leafs puck handling was impressive over the first two periods - heck, over the series, really. Somehow the B's got their crap together for about 5 minutes total which turned out to be the difference.

That's not going to carry them much further, though. They need to get back to their regular season form, now.

Well, last nights games went just as expected..The Caps choked, the Penguins poured on the coal late in the game looking sharp and the Knights proved to the world why nobody wants to play them. Oh well, the Predators start round 2 tonight against the Jets in what will likely be the most exciting playoff series and you better believe I'll be tuned in. Go Preds!

Although, while it wasn’t a blatant hit, Marchessault could’ve easily avoided snagging Jones’ stick. And if he had, I don’t think he would’ve had the same opportunity (open net) to score.

I’m just ready for this Preds game today. They won two days ago in every aspect of the game (except the score). That’s a tough team and I want to see what they can do again this year.
