So i got some old kegs from a dude on craigslist - torn them apart to give them the pbw treatment and one one of the kegs the "in" tube is plastic... I have never seen a plastic one? Is this ok or should i replace it?

Thanks

I had the same thing happen to me. It works fine, but I will be upgrading to stainless like on my other kegs. Test to make sure it holds pressure... if so, you should be good to go

I asked the same question after I got a lot of 4 used kegs from Ontario Beer Kegs a while ago, one had a plastic diptube on the gas post too. Found out they actually used some plastic diptubes for gas on various models of cornies.

Yep, I've got a couple. William's sells replacements, or you can drill it out to fit the standard stainless size (video somewhere on HBT). The plastic ones work fine for me but I did replace them initially because the ones I had were pretty shot.
