I saw that already (posted it in the baseball thread since I know no one in here cares). Nothing will become of it. They'll show that they spent all their money on their training facilities which they are allowed to do...and nothing will happen.

They'll probably sign some jabroni FA that no one wants and say "Look! We did something!"

Multiple sources say he is using the money to redesign the logo since people are getting the wrong impression about him and his team. Word is this is the current leading hat prototype:

Bit pricey, but The Library in South Side has CBS, '16 KBS, '17 KBS, Doom, DKML, and Trigo on tap right now, if you're into those things. Wasn't terribly crowded when I left. They also have everyone's favorite, Lizard of Koz.

Do they still do 2 happy hours a day, 7 days a week?

What's a hashtag wormhole?
You see, Kalfin, there's this thing called the internet, we're actually using it right now. So the internet is a complex thing, a series of tubes if you will, and little micro communities have sprung up within this week series of tubes, very similar to what we're using right here Kalefan69. Sometimes these micro communities invent their own constructs, their own ways to use the coding of the series of tubes to better their community. The hashtag, you might know it as the pound sign or "#" there OldKevinByTheSea, was created to lump together really bad ideas into a gigantic circle jerk wherein the "cookie" is actually anyone who ******* dives into a stupid hashtag.

got it, cheers

.....what's an "internet"?

I think Big Rail is the sub-North Country Brewery that operates out of the Harmony Inn? Too many ******* rail names in this area.
That’s what I thought. They stopped brewing there a couple months ago and added a bunch of taps at the harmony inn. I haven’t been since they made these changes.

I feel like soon we're gonna have to start closing a brewery before a new one should be allowed to open.

Maybe we should develop a power rankings system.

One vote for Dry Log

Here's the thing. I'm not a huge Dry Log fan, but I'll still take them over the millionth brewery to launch and put a pale, a porter, an irish red and some other nondescript beer on tap. I don't love what they do at DL, but I'll at least give them some credit for doing something different. And they do seem to sell a good bit of beer.

East End sells "a good bit of beer" as well...

How's that a burn? I set that as the cutoff since Hitchhiker in Castle Shannon is good. Also put Grove City because of Voodoo.

Was just a joke.

I guess maybe I'm just jaded or something but these new places opening doesn't move the needle for me at all. It might just be because I'm too damn lazy to drive all over Allegheny County to try them.

Just go to Beers of the Burgh. That's what I did. You are right that most are not worth the drive, nor should they move the needle. That is the life of a new brewery. Give them time and see if they make a name for themselves. If they do spend your money there, if not, then dont. Breweries will come and go, just get used to it.

This and even outside of the county. My car never makes it past the Sharpsburg exit on 28.
