Speaking of vacation, I'm in ellicotville for a long weekend and Firestone luponic distortion 6 cans for $10/6pack is such a steal.

The Luponic Distortion series is one of my favorite things in beer right now. Exactly what I look for in a sixer of IPA.

Taking the family there next weekend. What fine grocery establishment if I may ask?
Forgot to mention that it's in your best interest to make the 30 minute drive to olean NY to eat at the beef and barrel. Their beef on weck is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had and we'll worth more than a 30 minute drive. We went there for dinner tonight and it was amazing

Second question of the day ....
Most of you are more than familiar with how things work at BG. Brother visited over the wknd and said he was confused by the serving system/bartenders. Said line for growler fills and line for draft. Two bartenders, one for fills and one for draft. That makes sense and seems efficient but he said the draft bartender was only filling ppl in line and wouldn't even look or walk down the bar to serve patrons sitting unless there was no line. Is that standard protocol? Said if he wanted a beer he had to stand up and get in line to walk back up to within 10ft of where he was sitting.

I've never sat at the bar, but from what I've seen they do their best to serve both... But it's not always easy if there's a growler line and a draft line. It's not as though it's a large bar though so taking the few steps in the draft line doesn't seem like it would be that big of an inconvenience.

Yeah he said it wasn't that big of a deal, just slightly annoying and almost lost his seat twice haha. He brought back some fills so I'm looking forward to trying Shoshin and Weapons. He wasn't a fan of the Recertified, felt it smelled like a wet lifevest. I remember trying it a while back and thought it smelled like pineapple juice but was really green.
