Anyone with an Amazon Alexa been able to pair it with their UPS/FedEx account, to be alerted when beer is arriving at your doorstep? Trying to talk her through it right now, but Imma need some convincing that she's not a dumb bitch.

Haven't used Alexa before but see if https://ifttt.com/ works with it.

Any of y'all got a Chicagoland for that Bananas Foster BCBS?

I'd love to try it but I wouldn't trade an arm and a leg for it. I haven't had that many bcbs variants but the regular has always been my favorite.

Cherry Rye is/was and probably always will be my favorite BCBS variant.

I didn't have the pleasure of trying OG Rare, but I had 15' Rare the other night and I didn't really think it was any better than regular ole' BCBS.

OG Rare was fantastic when I had it a few months after release. Haven't had it since, nor have I had the new Rare.

Bramble. That is all.
Backyard Rye is a good substitute and far easier to obtain. I liked Bramble better as well, but it is just a really tough pull at this point in time.

IMHO, I really think you can get creative with a french press and make some stellar variants yourself with regular BCBS.

The pre-InBev variants are still among my favorite beers. Every single one of them has been incredible, but I would say OG Rare and Prop 13 were my favorites. Oddly enough, I always find myself going back to these when it comes to trading, as most of the time I find that the newmoney stouts pale in comparison to old Bourbon County.

Unfortunately, I don't think the variants will ever come close to touching Bramble, Backyard, Vanilla Rye, Prop 13 and 14, etc.

Prop 13 and 14 were both really, really good. Agree with you there for sure.

The only time I had a package damaged is when I wrote "fragile" [fra-jee-lay] all over it

Trade box my buddy had arrive today... Just thought it was humorous. They should use it in an anti-Fed Ex ad for UPS.

That looks like it's been used before too. It's probably just me, but I try never to use used boxes. Always UPS now for me.

Nah it was a new box, he just didn't know what he was doing. Box was WAY too big for what was inside, peanuts were the only filler and he didn't account for them settling in transit so the box wasn't packed nearly tightly enough. That, and I'd say FedEx stacked something pretty heavy on top of it too.

His result not withstanding there, I've had way better luck with FedEx.

Random topic ... Our town voted on adding fluoride to the water today. With me being lazy and figuring you guys might have a faster answer, how does that affect a brewery? Is an additional filtration system needed? Do you have to change the chemistry of your beers to keep them the same ?

I took it as a kid and see no issues, but people on our local newpaper's facebook page are losing their minds like the gov't is out for mind control and to give us cancer. After reading tons of crazy comments and being a more beer minded fool, it made me curious if there was any effect at all on beer, with or without it in the water.

I live in a town that is super against adding it to the water. It comes up and always gets voted down. The odd part is, all the pediatricians in the town push hard to give your kids fluoride Prescriptions.
